Nations of opposite polarities. Poland and Lithuania are both considered Easterners from various Western perspectives. Poland is of Eastern Europe, while Indonesia is of South East Asia. Powerful nations once oppressed by Western Powers. Poland was dominated by Germany and her Eastern cousins the Russians, likewise Indonesia was dominated by the Netherlands and for a while her Eastern cousins the Japanese.
They are big players on the stage of nations, often ignored and overlooked. They contrast like fire and ice, and hold the source code for all of humanities hues should the dominant powers disappear.
