From Texas to Guinea-Bissau

 Several million souls from Guinea-Bissau were stolen from Africa, and many would make their homes across the Americas from Brazil, the Caribbean and a few were destined for Texas.  

It was a story that began in tragedy and suffering, but has brought many blessings and treasures.  

There is to hope for tomorrow, rooted to the suffering of the past, lest we never forget this date, or our history. 

Slovenia & Slovakia - Slavic Sisters from Separated by Time

 In the afterglow of the Austrian Empire, nations were made.  In particular these two were attached to other nations as lesser halves of Czechoslovakia & Yugoslavia.  These Slavia's were went though several parallel incarnations, most recently as experimental Utopias and now they unto themselves, free from their once so close yet so different brethren.    

Guinea & Mali - Neighbors and Partners

 Mali & Guinea are West African neighbors, so similar and of course so very different.  They are of the few fraternal flag sisters to even have border with each other. 

Chad & Romania - from opposite yet so near ends of the earth

 

Kuwait & The United Arab Emirates - Booked end of the Persian Gulf

At opposite ends of the enchanted Persian Gulf, Kuwait and the UAE are sisters of Providential concord.  Somewhere between the these two nations, it is legend the Garden of Eden as originally planted.  It was here we were given paradise, yet mankind has fallen again and again.  

From the mouth of the Tigris & Euphrates to the Strait of Hormuz, this region of the world has courted kings of the world in the past, present, and evermore in the future. 

Today they have become modern Mecca's held in jealous regard for the blessing of black, liquid, Energon to the envious eye of the Decepticons.  Kuwait marked the beginning of US-Arab wars in this region, and the at the other end it marks wars to United States versus the Persian.    

Lesotho and Sierra-Leone

 At opposite ends of Africa, Sierra-Leone and Lesotho bring a cosmic balance to Africa.  United in colors of green, white, and blue.  Although a world away, they have parallel stories to tell and wisdom to share with each other and the world. 

Poland and Indonesia - A World Away on a Small World

 Nations of opposite polarities.  Poland and Indonesia are both considered Easterners from various Western perspectives.  Poland is of Eastern Europe, while Indonesia is of South East Asia.  Powerful nations once oppressed by Western Powers.  Poland was dominated by Germany and her Eastern cousins the Russians, likewise Indonesia was dominated by the Netherlands and for a while her Eastern cousins the Japanese.  

They are big players on the stage of nations, often ignored and overlooked. They contrast like fire and ice, and hold the source code for all of humanities hues should the dominant powers disappear.
