The Congo has had many flags reflecting its many hearts. It has face towards Brazil to her many grandchildren stolen to the Americas, a face towards Somalia for her sisterhood. The star flags of the Congo and Somalia show their core connection. To Africa. They also have lesser hearts rooted to the lesser, latent last place colonizers of Europe: Belgium and Italy.
Previously the Congo had single large yellow star in concord with Somalia. Although a new flag flies above, the connection to Somalia is perpetual outside of time.
