Once upon a time they forged Empires across the world. From South East Asia, Africa, and North America. Their first born sons and daughters were subsumed by other empires, namely Canada and South Africa. The echo of their first born exists in these country, as they viciously and rightfully defend their heritage in the overwhelming tide and unforgiving gravity of the overpowered English speaking mass.
Like the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States; their colors run Red, White, and Blue. They sing a powerful Western Anthem, in perpetual concord conceived in equity. They are the other ever present half of non-Anglo oriented Western Civilization, that has also made mistakes and brought many blessings to the nations of the world.
They both tower over the world and are every loving ancient aunts and grandmothers, to any who has maintained their links to the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
As of now, a smallest fraction of their off home-world colonies beat a unique and soulful heartbeat in the Caribbean and South Pacific, as small refuges of their forlorn European Empires. Yet their Colonial Imperial ambitions have undergone metamorphosis into the New Age corporate, share holder, Euro based boardroom, which continues to have a vastly powerful influence across the nations of the world.
The Tower and Mill are fundamentally machines, machines that do work. These machines have become their own sacred sigils. France and the Netherlands were and are mid-wives to the modern 'Western' and 'Eastern' age of technology, of a world in transition from the Exogenic-Cyborg to the soon to be Endogenic Cyborg way of life.
