The Mari El Republic Flag is a play on the California state flag and Mari El Flag in Russia. Mari El is just over the Ural Mountains, in Asiatic Russia. The Mari people are just tilted towards the East Asian ethnic with their own religion and language. Nonetheless they are Russian peoples, just beyond Russia.
Республика Марий Эл Флаг является игра на государственном флаге Калифорнии и Марий Эл Флаг России. Марий Эл только за Уралом, в азиатской части России. В народе мари просто наклонены в стороне Восточной Азии этнического с их собственной религией и языком. Тем не менее они являются российскими народами, только за пределами России.(It just says the same thing in Russian) But for the other flag we have it Easternized to the slightly Russian tilt of looking at things, written in Russian and conserving the Mari El pattern.
