Iceland Contiguous Zone Flag
In honor of Easter Sunday 2016, we have three flags with crosses that have earned Contiguous Zone flags: Iceland, Norway, and Denmark. The Contiguous Zone is a strange mixed semi-non-sovereign area of the world where nations have limited rights. Yet any person born in this area is not in official territory of a nation. Thus are not guaranteed citizenship. But perhaps they can when certain security duties and economic obligations are met? Since nations are conducting their business in this area, it is only fair any person born in these regions should have at the very least merit based citizenship requirements.
The Iceland Contiguous Zone flag is a birthright flag for persons born in this international area under nominal control of Iceland's security forces.
