The world oceans is essentially a vertical tri-bar of blue, green, blue. Its design traces back to
Wikipedian. The colours and pattern are a natural fit for a 'World Earth Ocean Flag' and it has a small scientific undertone. The colours blue and green represent the earth and oceans of the world. The yellow circle represents the sun surrounded by six stars which are a reflection of the 'six' continents. Additionally the circle with stars also represent the carbon atom which is an essential component in biological systems.
The architect of the flag is a Wikipedian Vostok412.
