First National Approved Thanksgiving - December 18, 1777

 It took place at what is now Gulf Mills, Pennsylvania near Valley Forge, on Thursday December 18, 1777, as proclaimed by Congress.  The chief or chair of Congress was held by John Hancock at this time 

You can find this post in front a church next to Gulf Mills train/bus station on the Purple 100, Norristown line.  Likewise it is an anchor end point for SEPTA 95 bus route.  Fatefully the 95th element is named after America via element Americium.  What a nice synchronicity to be thankful for.
