The Mason-Dixon line flag can be described as the Crossed Cantons Flag. Because elements of the Confederate and Union cantons unite. In essence, it represents a line of latitude of 39º 43' second North which is based upon the border between Maryland and Pennsylvania.
If you fully extend this line of latitude, it cuts through New Jersey. Specifically it touches the Atlantic Ocean in Ocean County, Long Beach Island Township. On the sub-township leve,l by providence, the community of Loveladies is the host, which luckily is a public beach. Depending on the minutia of where you wanna draw your line, the northern beach community of Harvey Cedars just barely touches this sacred line of latitude. Why is Loveladies providential? Because this flag was consecrated and cast in crucible of love to heal the wounds of the North and South with the light of hope. No doubt you'll fine lovely ladies just north and south of this cultural border.
Indeed there is something oddly Southern about Jersey, Clint Black was just born just a little north shy of the Mason-Dixon line.
