He Will Not Divide US Flag - Captured

Shia Labeouf created a flag in opposition the Trump Victory.  It is a simple flag that has a white background and "He Will Not Divide US" written upon it on black.  It was supposed to fly for the entire duration of the Trump presidency and was flown at a secret location.  But persons were able to figure out where it was by triangulating jet contrails and stars at night.

The flag-nappers were able to capture Labeouf's flag, and replace it with a Pepe shirt and Make America Great Again hat.

This flag has a blue background because p is the 16th letter of the alphabet and the one's digit value for 6 is coded to indigo.  The stars indicate the right starboard arm.  White is used because it is the assigned contrast indicator.

Happy Pi Day 2017!

Happy Pi Day 2017!  For this day we have two Pi Flags that read a 3.14; one is from the NATO number system the other is from the International Maritime number system. 

By queer coincidence NATO and International Maritime flags use a red, crossed flag for the number: four.  This fateful convergence of math with vexillology allows both Pi flags to be centered on a quartered pie.  For NATO the central element of the number four is sliced at 45 degrees, but for International Maritime the pie is cut at 90 degrees.

Happy Pi Day!  Once again this magical mathematical ratio of the circle has enchanted students and teachers for decades now.  In honor of this logically illogical holiday we have the NATO Pi Flag.  It is a combination of the official NATO flags for the #3, #1, and #4.

The larger component of the blue, red, blue horizontal tri-bar is the largest, as it represents the whole number three.  Within this flag is a diamond, or rhombus that is the flag for number one, which is like the flag of Spain which is another horizontal tri-bar of red, yellow, red.  Finally in the center is a white X on a red disc that represents the number four.

Like the official NATO flag, the Fun NATO Pi Flag has four compass points, a cicular central point, and navy blue.

Coincidentally the International Maritime Flag for Pi has a red disc with a central quatercrossed design.  Both the Fun International Maritime Pi Flag and the Fun NATO Pi flag have 'four' sliced pizza's in the center, at different angles.

Composite Semaphore Flag for the Letter N - November

The Composite Semaphore Flag for the Letter N is green, since N is the 14th letter in the alphabet.  Four is coded to green and its contrast indicator is yellow.  The stars on the fly side arm indicate the right-starboard arm of the Semaphore Signaler.

The Composite Semaphore Flag for the letter M has a yellow background since M is the 13th letter of the alphabet.  Three is coded to yellow, with its contrast indicator being blue.  The stars indicate the right-starboard arm of the Semaphore Signaler.

Flag for the East Pole

The East Pole is a natural consequence of the West Pole, since the East Pole is on the opposite side of the West Pole.  As a result, the East Pole is directly underneath Ecuador in Indonesia, Tembilahan.  The East Pole is on the equatorial island of Sumatra.  In the photo to the left, a Sumatran Elephant stands next to the East Pole.

The flag for the East Pole uses the colours: red, orange, yellow, and white.  In the center is the a white sun rising for the beginning of each new day.  Once you have traveled to the East Pole in Indonesia, you can fly this flag.

The rational for the East Pole rests on four legs of logic.  First it is a natural consequence of the West Pole.   Secondly it is in the Eastern Hemisphere.  It resides in East Asia, where each new day begins. Finally Indonesia was once a part of the Rising Sun Empire.

Flag for the West Pole

The West Pole flag is composed of the colours: navy blue, light blue, green, yellow, orange, and red.  It represents the setting sun and points Westward, in the modern map sense.

The West Pole is defined as following: the highest point on the Equator.  Consequently the nation of Ecuador is home to the West Pole.  And it is a pole you can visit on Mt. Cayambe.  This mountain is the highest point on the Equator and is always covered in snow, just like the North Pole and South Pole.

Cayambe as the West Pole make sense since it has three legs of logic to rest upon.  First, it is always covered in snow, as any self-respecting pole point should be.  Second, it is midway between the North Pole and South Pole, on the Equator.  And finally, it is in the Western Hemisphere.

Semaphore Flag for the Letter L - Lima

The Lima Composite Semaphore flag is orange and black.  It has an orange background because L is the 12th latter of the alphabet.  Consequently the ones digit value of 2 is coded to orange, which is used for the background.  The black stripes are due to the human shape of holding flags in the normal Lima position.  The stars indicate the right arm, as starboard is the right-side of a person, ship, plane, or car.

The Composite Semaphore Flag for the letter K is red and white.  It is red because K is the 11th letter in the alphabet and the ones digit value is coded to red.  The stars in the flag indicate the right semaphore arm which is pointed towards an angle with normal Semaphore flags.

Flag for Starboard - the Right Side of a Ship

The Starboard flag is green with white stars.  It has 13 white stars on a field of green.  It can be flown on the right-starboard side of a ship, plane, or car.

The stars are reflective of the word star in starboard.

When being held this flag goes in the right hand.  Like horizontal traffic signals the right light is always green, this may help you remember that the right-ward direction is associated with green.

If you happen to know Japanese then you can use Meegee equals Midori, association.  The Japanese word for green and the right-ward direction both start with an M- Meegee means right-ward (but does not mean correct as it does in English) and Midori means green.

Unlike NATO's Starboard flag which is also green and white, this International Starboard flag does not confuse itself with any nation, as the NATO Starboard flag looks like the flag of Nigeria. 

Flag for Port or the Left Side of the Ship

The Port flag is red and white.  It can be flown as a decal or flag on the port side of a ship, plane, car, or bus. 

The anchor symbolizes that ships can 'park' in this area, as is often the case with most ports.

Additionally red is associated with the port side of a ships navigation light.

If you happen to speak English you can use the synchronized association of 4 letters for left-to-port when thinking about the left side of the ship, when facing forward.

Also port wine has a red colour. Finally like a horizontal traffic light, the red light is always on the left, port side of the traffic signal.

If holding this flag in one's hand, the left hand should hold this flag.  Like the NATO port flag, there are red vertical stripes to appreciate.  Unlike NATO's Port flag, this flag is not as confusing.  NATO's Port flag confusingly looks like the Answer/Code flag.

The letter J for the Composite Semaphore flag has a white background and black contrast indicator that mimics the would be normal flag signaling position for J in Semaphore signaling.  It is white bacause J is the 10th letter and the ones digit value codes for the background, and zero is coded to white, while its contrast indicator is black.  The stars indicates the right arm, which is the starboard-right side of a person or ship.

Since H is the 8th letter in the alphabet and black represents the number 8, we have a black background.  The stars indicate the right-starboard arm.

The flag for the Composite Semaphore G-Golf Flag is violet.  This is reflective that G is the seventh letter of the alphabet and violet is the 7th colour of the specturm.  Yellow is the contrast indicator.  The purple stars represent the right-starboard arm, which is pointing downwards standard Semaphore position when communicating with two flags.

The Composite Semaphore Flag for Foxtrot is indigo-dark blue since F is the 6th letter in the alphabet and dark-blue indigo is the 6th colour of the visible spectrum.  The stars are on the vertical arm since the right-starboard arm of the persons is to point downwards.

Scotch-Irish Unicorn Harp Flag

The Scots-Irish are a people like the Irish who have come to play a dominant role in American heritage.  From Scotland to Ireland to America, a triple shot of colonial ex-pats.  Like Irish-Americans there are more Scots-Irish in the US than in Ireland or the UK.  Since they have the Irish name attached to their identity its high time these former highlanders get a harp flag.

This takes the Irish Harp but replaces it with the Scottish Unicorn, making it a perfect fusion of Irish and Scottish symbols.  In the canton is the Scottish thistle.  Likewise the green background is a bond to Ireland.

German-Irish Harp Pride Flag

Kiss me I'm Irish!  Is what a good majority of Americans can say and really mean it.  White as the standard ethnic dimension has many layers, but the thickest layer for American is the German-Irish mix or rather Irish-German mix: sometimes called Geryish, Irgermanish, or Iyemergernish.  These people love music, dance, hard-work, and deep thoughts, they give America her dominant white flavor and cultural proclivities, such as Halloween and St. Patrick's Day, the Christmas Tree, and hot dogs. 

In honor of this very deep and fun loving mestizo-race of the Irish-German mix, we have the Irish-German Harp Pride Flag.  Similar to the Irish Pride flag, it has a German black eagle on an Irish Harp.  The Iron Cross is in the canton position.  Remember that this symbol of Christianity was used before WWI as a national German symbol.  It gives this flag a heavy metal rock and roll feel, where many heavy rock and rollers just happen to be of this background.

French-German Heritage Flag

The German-French or rather French-German heritage Flag is composed of elements from the flag of France and Germany.  Usually to nations separated by a rich rivalry fueled by an intense love.  The central red cross is an echo to the dominant dogma of their ancestors who had a faithful focus upon a certain Hebrew Messiah, from West Asia. 

German-Irish Heritage Flag

Irish-German or rather German-Irish Heritage Flag is a made up of Irish and German colours.  The Irish and Germans are separated by a barrier of louder nations, but in the United States their bloodlines have crossed much to become the dominant ethnic lines for Caucasians.  

Oddly there are more ethnic-Irish and ethnic-Germans in the USA than either homeland. 

Mixed Gyrish, Irgerish, or Germanerish persons often have a love of hard work, with a deep competitive drive to win, and yet love to party hard - so American indeed.
