Maryland Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

The flag above their 13 gold stars and 7 silver stars represents order of entry for Maryland under the US Constitution and Articles of Confederation.  Reason being Maryland was the last state with the Articles of Confederation, and later in 1788 was the 7th state to ratify the Constitution—the younger, Patch US Gov 2.0 that fixed the free play Us Gov 1.0 with a whole new mother load of apps and obligatory subscription software of 1788 (aka the US Constitution).

However Maryland was originally the 13th state to join the United States under the Articles of Confederation.  Thus Maryland gets the coveted circle of 13 stars flag, reflecting her positions the last of the original 13 colonies to join the USA, on Ground Hog day back in 1783.

Finally there is the Constitutional and Confederation flag that denotes Maryland position as the 13th state of the Confederation and 7th state of the Constitution.

A funny coincidence is that Maryland's number of stars for her unilateral rank flags reflect the rebels of 1776 and of 1861.  Reason being there where 13 colonies in revolt in 1776.  Likewise 7 states formed the initial Southern Rebellion of 1861.  The first official flag of the USA had 13 stars while the first official flag of the CSA had 7 stars.

Also the hour of Maryland begins at 1:07 PM, or rather 13:07 hrs.

New Jersey Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

The following three flags represent the state of New Jersey.  The first flag has 11 gold stars to represent New Jersey's position as the 11th state in the original Union under the Articles of Confederation on November 19, 1778.  It was in this union that the name of the United State of America was officially determined, as opposed to the rebelling colonies.  Likewise gold is associated with the original, earliest of times as the Golden Age of "whatever."  Thus, up from about 1765 until 1788 was the Golden Age US history.

The silver age began with the 2nd formation of the US Government.  Consequently we have silver-white stars.  In this case New Jersey won the 'bronze' medal as the 3rd state to affirm and ratify the US Constitution on December 18, 1787.   It is the later Constitutional order that is keenly remembered and commemorated.   This begs the question, why is the original order overlooked or ignored?

Finally we have the united order for New Jersey.  It has stars united from the older Golden Era and latter Silver Era.  They make the pattern of a tulip or diving eagle.

With these two number of 11 and 3 we get the hour of 11:03 dedicated to New Jersey.

North Carolina Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

Like all the other 13 colonies from the American Revolution, North Carolina has 3 special Heritage Flags.  The flag above is the United Revolutionary Order Flag of North Carolina.  The 10 gold stars represent her position as the 12th state of the Confederation and the 12 silver stars represent her position as the 10th state of the Constitution.

Nearly one year after the first US election, George Washington, was elected, would North Carolina ratify the US Constitution on November 21, 1789.   Thus North Carolina earned the twelve white starred flag to represent herself.

But nearly 10 years before the US Constitution was twinkle in Jefferson's eye, North Carolina became the 10th state of the United States when she ratified the Articles of Confederation on April 5, 1778.

Finally when you combine North Carolina's positions as the 10th- Confederation and 12-Constitution; the hour dedicated to North Carolina begins at 10:12 AM.

Pennsylvania Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

Is Pennsylvania the 2nd state of the USA or the 8th state?  The general, correct answer is both, but it depends if you want a bilateral or unilateral answer.  Then you have to frame the question, as to which rank are you referring towards?  Constitutional Rank?  Or Confederation Rank?  The US Confederation came first and later, after an acrimonious run with US Gov 1.0 version 1778, did the American population recognize the need for a stronger government with the co-creative process of US Gov 2.0: The Constitution version 1787.  Also note the pattern of the stars is the Star Eagle.

The flag above reflects the dichotomy of Pennsylvania being the 8th state and the 2nd state.  The eight gold starts represent Pennsylvania's position as the 8th state to ratify the Confederation on March 5, 1778.  However, the two white stars represent her position at the 2nd state to ratify the Constitution on December 12, 1787.

The flag with 8 gold stars is Pennsylvania's Confederation flag.  It represents Pennsylvania's lucky position as number 8.  Eight is considered a lucky number in the China, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.   Since this flag was first issued in 2020, and America now has roots to this part of the world, the number 8 is also lucky number for the USA.

The flag with two white stars solely represents Pennsylvania's position under the Constitution.  Pennsylvania won the proverbial 'silver.'

Also note that Pennsylvania's order of the twins is South Carolina.  Since they are opposites, as SC was the 2nd state of the Confederation and 8th state of the Constitution.

Finally the hour for Pennsylvania begins at 8:02 AM.

New Hampshire Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

The flag above is the United New Hampshire Revolutionary Order Heritage Flag.  There are two types of stars: gold and silver-white.  The gold stars indicate New Hampshire's position as the 7th state with the first government, and the silver stars indicate her position as the 9th state with second government.  Oddly, most history books and the dominant memory of things prefer the second time around—most sites declare NH as the 9th state.

When the canton only has 7 gold stars it refers to New Hampshire's rank under the Articles of Confederation as the 7th state on March 4, 1778 during the heat of the Revolution.  Note the colour gold often indicates an older time period, as is the case with this example.

Nine white stars in the Canton refer to New Hampshire's position as the 9th state to ratify the 'do over' government of 1788—the US Constitution.

Consequently the hours of New Hampshire begins at 7:09.

Massachusetts Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags indicate the position of each of the original 13 colonies, whence they official joined to become the United States of America.  Since Massachusetts was the 9th state for the first government under Articles of Confederation she gets nine gold stars.  Later when the government underwent a major upgrade via the US Constitution, Massachusetts became the 6th state in the 2° Union.  The flag above is the united pattern.  Since gold usually represents an earlier age and silver comes later.

Right now, the dominant ordering is with the US Constitution.  Thus most historians and public officials declare Massachusetts as the 6th state.  What they mean is that Massachusetts was the sixth state to ratify the US Constitution.

However, Massachusetts was the 9th state of the original Union.  Only if, only if the Articles of Confederation would have been more effective form of government; then we would remember Massachusetts's original rank as the 9th state of the USA.  In fact the official name of the United States of America (USA) was specified under the Articles of Confederation, not the US Constitution.
The six white starred flag of Massachusetts reflects Massachusetts's rank as the 6th state to ratify the second government of the USA—The US Constitution.

Consequently the hour dedicated to Massachusetts begins at 6:09 AM.

Georgia Revolutionary Order Heritage Flags

The flag on this post represent the state of Georgia from various points of view.  The flag above with gold and silver stars represent Georgia's temporal position as the 6th and 4th state to ratify the constitutions of the USA.  With the first document to unite the 13 colonies into one nation was the Article of Confederation.  Georgia joined this league of rebel colonies on February 26, 1778.   About a decade later this league of colonies came to the conclusion that they needed reprogram the operating systems of this league of now 13 independent states.  After this new, obligatory system of laws was coded, it was christened as the Constitution.  Upon its release to public, Georgia downloaded and accepted final user end term agreement on January 2, 1788.

The Constitutional Rank flag for Georgia has four white stars, since she was the fourth state to ratify this document.

The Confederation Rank flag for Georgia has six gold stars, since she was the sixth state to ratify this document.

When you add up both ranks it that providential way, the hour dedicated to Georgia begins at 6:04 AM.
