MICHIGAN & PENNSYLVNIA

"A Keystone of Serendipity Unlocks a Path of Providence"

Kingdom of Tigora: from the movie Sheena 1984

 The flag for the Kingdom of Tigora, which is next to Wakanda in heart of Africa, but not cloaked by advanced technology features a flag sinister bend with sun of splendor in the center.  The upper hoist half is red, while the lower fly half is black. 

Perhaps the best image of the flag is when it appeared as car-jack flag on a red Mercedes.

Sadly there was no wind that day, when the flag for the Kingdom of Tigora were flying in the skies above in 1984.  

The Kingdom of Tigora appears as one of the locations in Sheena.

 Chris Farley was among the first of Americans to plant a flag on the West Coast in 1989.  Somehow, he was able to travel back in time through the future.

Governor of Florida Desantis holds the BS flag Concerning the Immigration Crisis

 

The semi-official BS Flag was shown during a news conference of Grady Judd with Governor of Florida Desantis.  The flag is in all caps as has the 'BS' written in brown, above 'FLAG' written in green underneath.  It also has Grady's autograph upon it, all on a field of khaki. 

This is a flag created in a facetious manner, to poke fun about the current federal administrations claim that the border is under control.  But sometimes joke flags become de facto official flags over time.

 The view that the border is "under control" is disingenuous and at worst, a full frontal gas lighting upon the American public.  Essentially the crisis at the border has created a path to citizenship for persons who crossed the border illegally, which is managed in an irregular, unsustainable, and reckless manner.  The current policy endangers 'trespassing non-citizens' as well as the established Americans, and those who immigrated under legal conditions.  

 It is likely the intentions of this reckless and dangerous policy will have unforeseen consequences and may backfire as the plans of open door proponents hope, and eventually become a blessing in disguise to opponents of unbridled immigration based upon illegal means, which will ultimately lead to a expansion of the conservative voting base.

Star Trek Continues - Star Fleet Flag 2017

 

Reboots, retreads, reloads, remakes, and my least favorite, the soft (limp) reboot as opposed to hard or fuzzy reboot are all over the media landscape these days.  

But Star Trek Continues is a perfect retread that continues exactly where the original series left off.  There is an over abundance of clever and many a corny fan clones about Star Trek, but Star Trek Continues is in a league of its own.  Acting, lighting, set design, effects, costume and most importantly writing!  This series smashes the awesome button over and over again.  Did I mention the writing?  

In the last episode a federation flag can be seen in the background with stripes and jagged red canton of sorts with yellow writing.

As for you naysayers of cannon,  CANNON SCHMANNON!  You don't need blessings from studio head-high priests to say its 'official', your heart knows what is true and this is a deep blue and sci-fi true, authentic Star Trek!

The hat worn by James Ewell Brown "JEB" Stuart (February 6, 1833 - May 12, 1864).  The feather is an ostrich plume.  He was the most famous cavalry officer of the Confederacy.

The Official Flags of Barbie Land: 2023

 

In Barbie land we have the Pink House!  Notice that flag has a shell in the sky blue canton, likewise the stripes are hot pink and light pink.

There are flags of the Pink Political establishment at the sides.

Here you can get a better look at the Barbie federal flag on the left and the presidential flag of Barbiestan on the right.

The Barbie ensign for civilian use is visible along the back.  It is pink and white.

Karate Champ - Video Game 1984: Flags

 

A quaint video game version of the US flag appears in the video game Karate Champ (1984), as made by Data East.  The players either wear white or red.  When a player wins, the ref holds up a small flag that indicates who the winner is.  In this case a red flag is lifted as he scores a point.

Various Solar System Flags: Rick and Morty - Season 6

 

In season 6 of the Rick and Morty Show, the planets go to war for control of the solar system.  Several planetary flags are visible in the crowd.  The flag of Mercury has the Western symbol in grey on a blue field.  It looks like several other are present as well.

Earth Flag - Rick and Morty: Season 6

 It looks like a version of the Earth flag in the background.  The finial is silver moon.  The flag has the Sun, Earth, and Moon on a field of black, with grey border.  There also another Sun flag vexillum.  Unfortunately a woman is waving a red pennant, which blocks a perfect view of the Earth flag.

Flag of the Sun: Rick and Morty - Season 6

 

In Season 6 Rick and Morty have an adventure on the Sun and the banner of Sun can be seen in the background.  It is composed of an orange disc, with yellow flames on a field of red, that is swallow tailed with a yellow border. 

 

 

US and Pennsylvania flag in Ground Hog Day

 

Ground Hog Day is an American tradition, which started in Pennsylvania.  Just barely for a moment does the flag of Pennsylvania appear in this truly timeless American classic, Ground Hog Day, a movie that impressed a unique American value upon this quirky holiday.   The flag of Pennsylvania is in the background of the two men holding the orange 'Blizzard' sign.  Next to the greed '6 MORE WEEKS OF WINTER'   sign is the 50 starred US flag.  

 Ground Hog Day!  Unlike Christmas, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Easter, Passover, Ramadan, Hannukah, Christmas, Rosh Hashanah, St. Patrick's Day, it is a true-blue All-American holiday like the 4th of July, and Thanksgiving.  Perhaps the quirkiest of American holidays? It's a non-denominational for all the people groups of the US.  Several flags appear in this movie, and thankfully the Pennsylvania State flag makes an appearance. 

Luar Twilight - 21st Night

 

The Moon is New, Empty and yet to lit as if in Utero.  Soon the first Moon of 2023 will begin its dance around the Earth.  Until then there is a required darkness and waiting.  Until then, a deep quite sleep is required, for the new spouts of tomorrow's new Moon glow of 2023.  Oddly this is a rare Moon that syncs up with the Eastern Calendar, whence the year of Cat Begins from a Yin point of view, but most in the East recognize it as the Year of the Rabbit.  

Upon the ending, a mystery of friends, pets, customer, bosses, stories, songs, await each coming year.  In that silent space they wait. 

 

Lunar Twilight - 20th Night

 

The last night of Lunar Twilight is dedicated to 2022, yesteryear, it is the last light of 2022 to go out.  Only then will the days of 2023 sync up with each other upon the first sliver of New Lunar Light of 2023 to take the stage in less than 48 hours. 

Here the King of Nat wears a skinny black tie, a classic for the ages.  The tie was originally a military device from Croatia.  But it has now become an international essential for the suit and iconic symbol for manhood. 

Hoping that the previous year and years to come are as "Unforgettable" with the best of intentions and tone, as Mr. Cole put it.
