Ambler Borough, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania—Borough Seal

The little town that could, is what could be said about Ambler Borough.  The small yet stunningly beautiful and lively municipality just outside of Philadelphia has seen its ups and down, and right now it is on an up, becoming a warm and hospitable yet very fashionable little city.  Currently it has underwent its own arts and culinary arts renaissance.

The city seal is featured in several places across this borough.  It features a pathway that resembles a treee splitting off into four structures: a factory, train, Lindenwold castle, and a mill.  It became an independent of the township in 1888 (incorporated).  But it was established much earlier.   It was previously called Wissahickon, but changed its name to Ambler due to the heroic efforts of a nurse.  In 1856 there was a horrific train wreck that killed over 50 people.  Like a Superwoman, Mary Johnson Ambler appeared upon the scene to rescue people.   On the city sidewalk you can see a colourized version of the seal.

Here is another version of Ambler's seal, taken from a parking sign.  It was done some time ago, as you can see the paint starting to crack.  Nonetheless, it is or was a fine facsimile of the borough seal.

Norfolk Island Christmas Flag

The Norfolk Island Christmas flag is decorated with a traditional Christmas theme.  A star is on top, there are multicolored presents underneath and multicoloured lights.  Norfolk island is in the Southern Hemisphere and is a good place for Christmas in July, because it is wintertime in this little island.

When most people hear the word Norfolk they think of Norfolk, Virginia.  But Norfolk, Australia is a completely different place.  Yet,Yankee and Aussie Norfolks are named after the original Norfolk in England in East Anglia.  But Norfolk, Australia is closer to the equator, thus it's climate is more like Daytona Beach in Florida at 29º latitude.  Also, Norfolk Island is much smaller than Norfolk, Virginia.  In fact, about you could fit about nine Aussie Norfolks in one Virginia Norfolk.

Thing is, Australia does indeed have an island called Christmas Island, but its Norfolk's flag makes a better Christmas flag.

African-American Washington State Flag Honors - for Booker, Carver & Denzel

There are three African-American Washington State flag honors.  Just like the official flag of Washington the colours and background are the same.  Instead of the first US president, George Washington, we have George Washington Carver, America's most famous botanist.  Thanks to his efforts millions of American children enjoy peanut butter sandwiches.  Within the wake of Carver's life, PB&J became a right of passage childhood memory, which later led to that Penuut  butta' jelly song.

George Washington Carver was born in bondage yet was able to become a tour de force in the scientific community, even when people of colour were setback with huge uneven challenges from the white establishment.  And long before Al Gore, this Washington was a steadfast advocate for protecting the environment.  Carver truly was a diamond among the rough.  After all, he was born in Diamond, Missouri.

Booker T. Washington also gets a Washington State flag honor.  Another American born into bondage and set free by Lincoln, he became a pathfinder for racial equity after the civil war.  Booker rose as leader, later to give advice to a sitting President—Theodore Roosevelt.   Like the official George of Washington State, Booker was born in Virginia.

You can compare Booker Washington to the pop-culture comic heroes of Professor X and Magneto, who fought for "mutant rights."  Booker was the original wheel chair bound "Professor Xavier" who pushed for coloured rights.  Instead of taking on the racist laws directly, Washington advocated for working within the confines of Jim Crow, to slowly earn respect.  In contrast, his equivalent "Magneto" would be W.E.B. DuBois. A similar situation arose in the 1960s with Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.  But it was Dr. King who was like a "Professor X" and Mr. X who was like "Magneto." 

Finally a fun African-American Washington State flag, This one is named after Mr. Washington, Denzel.  This Washington like Booker used words to inspire, educate, and influence the public.  Not directly with speeches and advocacy, but rather within the cinematic arts.  Here, our modern day, most famous black Washington is wearing the uniform of a Union soldier as taken from the movie Glory 1989.










 The official state flag of Washington for comparison; although he had no direct children these men are some of his best sons born in Washington's country.

African American Virginia Flag - The Harriet Tubman Honor

The African American Virginia Flag features Harriet Tubman instead of an Amazon.  Likewise a different kind of tyrant is being trampled over.  The tyrant is a slave owner; he is dressed in a violet suit to match the ancient tyrant on the official flag of Virginia.  Likewise Harriet is wearing a blue dress.  A difference is that Tubman is holding a long shotgun instead of a spear, and she carries a bag full of supplies—no sword.  For the tyrant, his overseer hat has been knocked off.  Finally, Harriet is stepping on his whip, symbolizing the end of slavery in the US.  

Also, to the left of Tubman is Presidential Proclamation 95, better known as the Emancipation Proclamation with its date January 1, 1863.  The ancient custom of slavery seemed to be an impossible thing to rid society of, but by the 1860s this cruel institution became was outlawed within the United States of America.  Yet for 99% of human history owning another person as property was a way of life.  Its dismissal was met with great sacrifice and great bloodshed. It is proper to honor all souls involved with its passing, good and bad, for mercy is the way of America.

It is for memories like this, when the simple prayer of God Bless America holds its value.

Old n' New Jersey United Flag - from UK to the USA

When people in the USA think of New Jersey, they often think of the shore and amusement.  Likewise in the UK, Brits think of the shore and amusement.  Both Jerseys, Old and New, are famous for their coastlines and being a destination point for tanning and relaxation during the summertime.

For the United Jerseys Flag, the Goddesses have changed their clothing to old maid English medieval style.  Instead of three plows, there are the three lions on the New Jersey's coat of arms, but the lions are on New Jersey blue instead of English red.  The background has a red saltire of Jersey and finally, the coronet of old Jersey is placed upon the horse's head.  Surely, there are few people who have heritage from Jersey and New Jersey.  If so, this flag is dedicated to yous, as we say with a Jersey Accent.

New and Old Jersey are Fantastic Spots for Boating

European Jersey is by the coast of France, in the middle of the English Channel.  Jersey is one part of the few parts of UK that sees eye to eye with US, via latitude with the United 48.  The upper periscope-peninsula of Minnesota matches this latitude Jersey, UK.   On the other hand, American Jersey is on par with the Belearic Islands of Spain or rather the boot heel of Italy.  Although Euro Jersey is much smaller than Yankee Jersey, Original Jersey is action packed with history, castles, eating, and shopping.

I suppose it's high time for a EURO JERSEY style Monopoly version!? The player pieces could be a knight, British Bulldog, WWI battleship, a gurning face with a horse collar, a Rolls Royce, and a Spitfire airplane.  Instead of Board Walk and Park Place, the

high end properties in Euro Jersey would be Elizabeth Castle & Pelmont Bay?

Funny thing is that American Jersey is the only official state flag to have a proper English style heraldic flag, all the other states use a post modern creative American type of heraldry that does not follow usual rules (to the amusement of traditional heralds).  New Jersey's flag is perfectly of a regal spirit, unlike New York.  This is one place where NJ outshines her shiny rival to the north.  New Jersey has a classy flag, for a classy people.

The New Old York flag is a union of flags: New York in the USA and York in England.  The Goddesses Liberty and Justice have donned medieval dresses with pointed princess hats.  Likewise the crown is moved to respectful pose above the eagle.  Finally, the coat of arms features the symbol of Yorkshire in the UK, a white rose.

Coincidentally, George Washington's ancestry traces itself back to old Yorkshire.  Further it was in New York, NYC to be exact, is where Washington was inaugurated as the first US president in 1789.  It should be noted that Old York is not referred to as Old York, but rather, simply as York.  But both Yorks are on the East Coast of their respective nations. 

Right now tensions between the UK and USA are at a all time low.  The effect of mass media, Youtube, and Internet has made these once far off distances just closer than ever.  The Harry Potter books also added a layer of unbreakable cement between these two nations.  Likewise any person who has heritage from New York and York has props to fly this unique flag of harmony.

Rhode Island Flags in Different Languages & Anchors

 The Rhode Island flag is very distinct, but anchors have come in many shapes before the cross design was put into fashion.  In honor of ancient anchors found along the diverse coastlines of the world, it is possible to make thematic Rhode Island Flags.

The first one is the an Anchor type found in the Red Sea. أمل is the Arabic word for hope.

 The round doughnut type of anchor was found in ancient China.希望 is Chinese for hope.

A popular anchor found across the Greek Isles is the trapezoid types. ελπίδα is Greek for Hope.

 An anchor found off the coast of Israel had a triangular/square shape.  The Hebrew for for hope is תקווה

Here is one style of ancient Viking anchor with a heavy rock tied to the center.  Hope is written in Runes to read as Hope.

Here is a mish-mash Greek-Rhodes flag.  It uses the official design of Rhodes and adds it US Rhode Island style of flag.

1588 Virginia Queen Elizabeth I Heritage Flag

If you didn't know, the state of Virginia was named after Queen Elizabeth I...

In 1588 the Spanish Armada was about to restore the faith of Rome to England.  But alas, a divine wind (In Japanese: Kamikaze 神風) overtook the grand Armada of Spain.  Instead the Gods allowed the isle of England to reign supreme and in the wake establish 13 English colonies with a protestant tilt.   The storm that crippled Spain's great armada gave the English the confidence that they were in the favor of God's good grace.  The Japanese had a similar thing happen, twice, when the Mongols invaded Japan and were crippled by bad weather. 

Official State Flag of Virginia

This is a heritage flag for Virginia, whose namesake is taken from the Virgin Queen, Queen Elizabeth the I (Reign1558-1603).  The rise of this queen is tied to the rising of hardcore English pride, more so English than British and to an extent, Protestant Pride as well.  She was the last singly English Monarch, before official union with Scotland.

A title she held was Fedei Defensatrix, a defender of the faith.  Queen Elizabeth I replaces the Amazon stepping on the Roman Tyrant.  Instead, Her Majesty is stepping on a Spanish Conquistador who has his helmet knocked off.

The story of Elizabeth's victory is retold in film every few years as to stoke English pride.  It is a lovely story to tell and has not been censored because it shows a powerful female monarch sticking it to the man/establishment.  It the classic David and Goliath story of the little guy (a smaller Queen) sticking to powerful establishment, kinda of like Neo from the Matrix 1999.  In this case the King of Spain, King Philip II, was the Agent Smith. 

The following video echos the primordial essence of the America before it was born, within the realm of an unborn nation.  In a way, Queen Elizabeth was the 'John the Baptist' figure for the 13 English colonies just before they were settled in...Virginia, in honor of the Virgin Queen.

Old Hampshire Meets New Hampshire—The Hampshire Heritage Flag USA to the UK

Fusion Old & New Hampshire Flag

Presenting the Hampshire Heritage flag!  It is a fusion of delight from the original "Old Hampshire" with New Hampshire.  Perhaps there are people around who have a mom from UK's Hampshire and a dad from the USA's Hampshire.  

The flag retains the USA's basic background and logo seal.  But the center has been replaced with the Hampshire's Rose and crown. 

Fatefully both Hampshires are coastal sub-national entities.

Winchester is a city in Hampshire, long before an lady built that big house, and long long before firearms were invented, let alone gunpowder was discovered.

Both Euro Hampshire and Yankee Hampshire have cities by the name of Portsmouth.  There are many Portsmouth Cities across the world, but the original Portsmouth is in England, on her southern coast.

Indiana Indiana Jones Flags

Indiana Jones is one of most iconic heroes of cinema.  When you take that spirit and mesh it with the Indiana flag, this is what you get.  Most archeologists don't have the life and death adventures as such as Indy had.  But in a way the adventure of the mind does take place, and every once and a while archeologists get to travel to far off places and fight against tourists and local con artists. 

Here is another version of the Indian Indian Jones flag.  I guess on Indiana Jones Day they can fly this flag all across Indiana? The silhouette of the his iconic fedora with an internal silhouette can be seen.

 Just for reference, here is the official state of Indiana flag.  You can see much of the design is conserved with the Indian Jones versions.  The Indiana word is conserved but it uses that exciting font that has become iconic of American Excitement.

Hannah Montana Montana Flag

Growing up as a starlet is a challenge.  Here Miley Stewart was selected to be star from youth.  As a young starlet she was the evermore cheerful and positive force.  She has grown up as Miley Cyrus and is again making waves and sparkling with her own kind of magic.  Surely in her older adult remake, she will transform again to an awestruck public.

The Hannah Montana Montana flag simply takes her image upon the seal and adds her name.  No doubt this star will continue to grow, inspire and make a difference.

North & South Dakota Heritage Flag

The United Dakota flag is based upon the flag of North and South Dakota with a few modifications.  Words in reference to North or South are missing.  In the canton is slightly modified North Dakota flag and in the field is a modified South Dakota seal.

This flag is for persons who just happen to have ancestors who hail from both states.  Just like North Carolina and South Carolina these states are so similar but different.  Just as both the North Carolina-Dakota are border states.  ND has slight Canadian flavor, as NC has slight Virginia flavor.  SC is in the deep south and SD is deeper in the heart of America.

North & South Carolina Heritage Flag

These are two states that have the same last name, Carolina.  Likewise there are certain people who share a heritage to both states.  If any of your ancestors stem from either North or South Carolina then this is your flag.

The Carolina heritage flag features the design of North Carolina, but with South Carolina's palmetto and moon taking up the space in the blue "tridrant." (a new word based upon quadrant)

Unknown Region Flag

The Unknown Region flag is composed of the colours green, white, and black.  In the center are two question marks-one if upside the other is downside.  This makes up a unique image in the center, based upon the question mark.  

So what prompted this flag? You can blame Google.  When I was looking at my stats, there were views from "Unknown Regions."  I guess that could be anywhere, on Earth or off it?  Who knows?

The war flags for elephants are visible upon the golden statue.  The triangular red flags act like a beacon. 

Heterosexual Pride Flag

The Heterosexual Cis-Gender Flag is made up of three colours: blue, pink, and white.  Blue represents the dominant male aspect while pink represents the recessive feminine aspect, like Yin and Yang.  White represents the separation and divine purity of love between a man and woman. White also represents the potential of their love to generate new varieties of life as white light holds all the colours of the spectrum within itself.

Blue is dominant to reflect the nature of male dominance as found in many types of organisms. Although the pink-female component takes up less space, it retains the central honor point.  Further, the feminine aspect shows a different kind of power—it is unbroken and conveys unity and strength.  This flag echoes the sexual dimorphic nature of men and women.

Thus this flag recognizes that both cis-males and cis-females have a different powers over the other, yet are united harmoniously to make a whole.  For it is with the union of male and female, new life can be created.  It is a sacred trust; as taking life or making life should be done with proper respect and care.

Note that, in the original "gay/happy pride flag" pink was associated with sex and cyan/turquoise was associated with magic/art.  Likewise, when a man and women engage in the reproductive process, they create the finest kind of magic by opening the door to the other side—to the realm of unborn souls.  Although scientists may understand the biological process of sex in extreme detail, it is truly a kind of miracle beyond our complete understanding. Like magic, new people appear from the heterosexual process.  This organic aspect of love between man and woman is honored with this flag. 

Male dominance by size, behavior, and social order occurs in many types of mammalian species.  For example sea lions, lions, gorillas, deer, dogs, cats, and most monkeys—it is the male half that dominates the female with behavior and physicality.  This may seem like the dominant nature of things but there are numerous examples where the female half dominates, the bonobo and hyena being clear examples.  In those cases where the woman or the female species dominates by size, behavior, and social rank—the colours are reversed; the middle X is blue and the outer four wings are pink.

But times and standard gender roles are changing, or rather expanding.  On rare occasions you will find taller and more economically successful women who choose shorter, less economically dominant men—an extremely rare event. For the vast majority of heterosexual couples, the man is more economically dominant and a few inches taller.

This Heterosexual Pride flag is extracted from Gilbert Baker's original Gay Pride flag and in support.  The pink and light blue colours honor Gilbert Baker's original Gay Pride flag which had pink and cyan—which now finds a home in the Straight Pride flag.

Finally, X indeed marks the spot since both men and women have X chromosomes.  The pink X also adds an extra honor to womanhood.  If you forgot, women have two Xs while men only have one X chromosome.  Instead of two Xs, men have a Y chromosome which is smaller and deficient—because life can not be sustained on a single male chromosome alone; a female X chromosome must be present. Thus all gender identities are united by the feminine X chromosome. After all, women are the final gatekeepers who open and allow new souls to enter this universe.

Anglish Flag

If you are a native speaker of English then you have to watch this video about Anglish.  Anglish is something less popular than Esperanto, yet it exists as a fun language like Klingon.  In this case, Anglish is a modern day recovery English language that asserts its Germanic roots by resurrecting all the Old English and Germanic root words with modern day English, excising Latin and Romance influences.  

The flag of Anglish is composed of the English red cross with a white canton.  in the other areas are Germany's colours.

In Kiddie Anglish

When your mother speak is English, then you must see this video about Anglish.  Anglish has smaller knowing than Esperanto.  Yet it is being like the speaking of Klingon from Star Trek.   In this way, Anglish is the come back English speaking, that ups its Germanic Roots and Old English words but keeping common speak English, minus Latin and Romance words.

Metal Element Flag — 金屬元素標誌

So what are the ancient elements?  Half the world includes Earth, Air, Fire, & Water while the other half thinks about Earth, Fire, Water, Metal and Wood.  It all depends on which culture you grew up in.  But since the world is basically one big city, it's time to make sense and harmonize the Eastern and Western ways of looking at the ancient elements, with a modern take.

Basically, the cultures that follow Western-Roman Astrology use four elements, while cultures that follow Eastern-Chinese Astrology came up with five elements.  Both the Eastern and Western Zodiacs overlap by three original elements: Fire, Water, and Earth.   The difference is that East has a category for Metal and Wood, which the West does not.  Yet, the West has a category for Air, while the East does not.

One theory is that the Western Mind knew that matter could exist in different forms: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.  Thus in a way, the early Western model of elements had a rudimentary understanding of the different states of matter.  To match it up: solid-Earth, liquid-Water, gas-Air, plasma-Fire.

Likewise in the East, another rudimentary aspect about matter was understood.  Ancient Chinese thinkers figured that matter could be categorized as metallic or non-metallic with their Wood and Metal classifications.  Wood is mostly made up of non-metallic matter like: carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur and such. While the vast majority of other atoms are metallic.  There is even a few that straddle the line like Silicon and Selenium being 'Trans" so to speak, a mix of being both metal and organic. 

But his post is about the Ancient Element of Metal.  The modern Elemental Metal flag is a vertical tri-bar of buff, dark gray, and light grey.  

The Metal Elemental covers the vast range of personal identity traits.   Unlike Wood traits that are organic, Metal working is an active pursuit that puts a person in a certain Tribal affiliation.

Here are just a few example of Metal Tribal Traits: musical interest, food interest, tattoos, jobs, internet/cell phone carriers, pet preference (Cat Tribe, Dog Tribe), intoxicant preference (tobacco, alcohol, cannabis), sports interest, automobile type, hair style, social clique, gang, military experience, pop-culture interests, games to play, Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, marital status, Frat/Sorority, secret society, and many more of personal choice.

Perhaps the most popular type of Metal flags belongs to professional athletic clubs: soccer, football, and baseball.
