Eternal Flame - Bangles Lunar Twlight Feels

Lunar Twilight counts down the last cycle of the Moon from yesteryear.  The current Moon was baptized in 2019 and will end its current cycle on the 23rd of January 2020.  Officially it is 2020, but when night comes the spirit of 2019 returns at night under the last Moon of 2019.

This is time to be thankful for 2019, to make amends, and recollect the past and savor the past.  The music of Lunar Twilight can felt in the themes of music across cultures and time.

No obvious flags can be found in The Bangles' Eternal Flame video, but the necklace is a kind of badge that can denote status, age, style and mood of the wearer.

Into the Night - Nero

The last Moon of 2019 carries on until January 23.  Although it is officially 2020, unofficially the spirit of 2019 revisits up on the lighting of the Lunar Twilight Candlemast.  This holiday is a sullen time to cherish to past and savory the good times of yesteryear.

There seems to be a small yellow flag in front of the vending machine in this video.  Nonetheless, this trance like music captures the feels of Lunar Twilight.

Fade Away - Lunar Twilight

The calibration of the modern calendar is permanently tied to the Western Christianity.  Although people try to detach the association with CE for AD, the numbers still reflect the time that has elapsed since the birth of Jesus, that is about 2020 years ago.  Even the year 1776 is ingrained into American consciousness as the founding timeline for America.  Christian or not every person born in the USA will have some attachment to the year that they were born, as it is calibrated to the assumed birth of Christ: as it was in the spirit of 69', that 70's show or the memeba' berries of the Goldberg's 1980s nostalgia show.  They all reflect back to Jesus.

Nonetheless, Lunar Twilight is celebration of the passing of 2019.  It is based upon the idea that the last lunar cycle of 2019 crosses over to New Years.  The Moon has a 28 day cycle.  Thus the current Moon of January 5, 2020 started back in late December 2019.  Thus when night falls, the spirit of 2019 returns to comfort us in this transition period.  But when day break we are back to 2020.  This friendly reversion to yesteryear continues until the first New Moon of the new year begins. It will be on January 24, 2020 that the first Moon begun in 2020 will start.

This holiday is apolitical and for all the people of the world, regardless of their creed, philosophy, gender, age, economic status, language, or ethnicity.  These candles are for everyone on Earth.  For the sake of contrast, unlike candles of Hanukkah (which is a celebration for one particular religious identity) and Kwanzaa (which is just for one race of Americans): all the colours and faiths of humanity can participate in Lunar Twilight.  Lunar Twilight is a time to savor and celebrate the past years events, while counting down the last Moon of 2019.

If American society should try to erase American memory and connection to the Year of the Lord in 1776 by instituting a new exclusive calendar, then truly troubled times are afoot.  

Xxxtentacion - Moonlight

The transition of the New Year varies according to ones culture.  But with Lunar Twilight, the transition between Yesteryear has a romantic step.  The nights of 2019 continue on for the first few days in January, because the current Moon was created last year.

The key component to Lunar Twilight is the Candlemast.  This Menorah of sorts is for all of humanity of every creed and philosophy, not just for one race or religion.  The candles count down the phases of the Moon.  Each candle is of a different length and they are all lit at the same time, some time after sunset.  When the lowest candle goes out the, rest are blown out each night a blessing and to grateful for something in 2019 each night.

The holiday music for Lunar Twilight can already be found songs that have thematic of the Moon and passing memories of love and joy.  In the song Moonlight by Xxxtentacion the logo of clothing print makers can be seen, which have a heraldic style.

The Old Year is not completely out yet, because the current Moon was first created in 2019.  It's last light will fall on Earth on January 23, 2020.  Until then the Moon of 2019 will continue to dominant the dominant night sky, giving a respite to say goodbye to yesteryear.

This 'holiday' of sorts is somber.  Although it does not have official holiday music, the spirit of Lunar Twilight can be felt in the themes of melancholic music.

In this video graffiti tags can be seen.  Depending on the type of graffiti, they can act like art or territorial markers, like a flag, for certain gangs.

Metallica Fade to Black - Lunar Twilight Song

The passing of time can be heart wrenching phase in life.  The passing of now can also be positive or negative.  But when one is too attached to past, it can generate a certain kind of melancholic gravity that makes the heart turn and weep.

The ultimate 1980s Metal Band that lived and became the centerpiece in name and song - Metallica.  In the video you can see a pentagram, a mysterious and powerful symbol of the dark side of the Moon.

Flag's in Mr. Toad's Estate - New Year's Day Celebration

Mr. Toad is small Disney character who left a big imprint at Disney World.  Too bad he didn't get a cameo in the Frog Princess.  In his estate several flag can be seen hanging over the fireplace.  Mr. Toad obviously has royal pedigree and has connections to the House of Lords.


Below is close up of his family coat of Arms.  Notice the Armless lion on the right side, indicating quasi-tadpole nature of frogs.

Only the first time on Mr. Toad's ride do you really get a taste of ultimate fear.  The second time the spark is different yet much muted.
