Morse Code Flag for the Letter R - Romeo . _ .


The Flag for the letter R is black and white.  The stars represent DOTS while the Stripe represents a DASH.  The black background is coded to the number eight.  We have a black flag because R is the 18th letter.  Morse Code Flag background colour is based upon the ones digit value, as the tens digit value is ignored.

Morse Code Flag for the Letter Q - Quebec . . .


The Morse Code Flag for the letter Q has three stripes and one star.  The stripes and stars are reflective of the Morse Code DASH, DASH, DOT, DASH.  Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet, its one digit value is a seven, consequently the colour of the flag is violet because violet is the 7th colour of the visible spectrum. The star and stripes are yellow, because yellow is the assigned contrast indicator for violet.

Fun Flag for Magnesium - Element #12


Flag for for the 12 Element - Magnesium - is based upon the flag of Greece and the area flag of Thessaly.  Reason being that Magnesium is named after this region of Magnesia, Greece.


Morse Code Flag for the Letter P - Papa . _ _ .

The Stars and Stripes for the Morse Code Flag reflect the DOT, DASH, DASH, DOT.  Incidentally the Morse Code P-Flag matches the colours for the P-Flag in International Maritime Flags, which is dark blue and white.  The Morse Code Papa flag is coded to the colour indigo (dark blue) since the ones digit value for P is a six, since it is the 16th letter in the alphabet.  The colours of the regular maritime flags are essentially arbitrary, but Morse Coded Flags have a scientific and logical progression to their design.

Morse Code Flag for the Letter O - Oscar _ _ _


Morse Code for the letter O has three DASHES, therefore the flag for Morse Code Oscar has three stripes.  The blue background reflects the ones place value for this letter which is 5.  Although O is letter number 15, the ones value sets the colour value.

Morse Code Flag for the Letter N - November _ .

The letter N in Morse Code is a DASH  and DOT.  Therefore the flag has a Stripe and Star.

Morse Code Flag for the Letter M - Mike _ _


The Morse Code Flag for the Letter M has two blue stripes on a yellow background.  The stripes represent the DASHES.  Why yellow?  Because yellow represents the 3rd, but the letter M is the 13th letter, yet only the ones place value sets the colour, and remember that yellow is the third colour of the visible spectrum.
