Here is a unique American flag flying at Newark Airport.  Just below the official US flag is a 9/11 memorial flag.  It features the twin towers covered with the US flag.

Fire Hydrant Livery

Gone are the days of the classical red fire hydrant.  Instead, the water public works has assigned certain colours to certain parts of the fire hydrant. The main shaft, center nozzle, side nozzles, and cap can all have different colours.  The different colours clue show the different waters systems to which a nozzle is connected with.

What are your street colours?  We have colours of the nation, state, county, municipality, school district, and even a hydrant colour assignment.  Do you have hydrant pride?

I did find one classical red fire hydrant, but it had a nose ring.  I guess it would have been a great sin against humanity to have a naked red nozzle showing.

By far the most interesting nozzle was a plastic one found in Philadelphia's Airport.  It was on AstroTurf so that service dogs could do their business.  Rather than dispensing water, this hydrant's purpose was to receive water—water from a dog.

However, when little kids were walking by, they were naturally tempted to go play to my puppy pee pee spot!

Seal of US Navy's Base Realignment & Closure

The coat of arms for the US Navy's realignment and closure is a unique device.  It has the standard seal of a rope style.  In the center is a Yin/Yang design where the left side shows a Naval Vessel with an F-14 flying overhead as if at night.  The right side shows a glorious sun rising over a civilian's building next to a tree

‡ Flag, The Deisis Flag

The ‡ Flag is a vertical quad-bar of white, red, yellow, and cyan-blue.  The colours are coded to the colour metric as assigned by the rainbow order.  Red is coded to 1, yellow 3, cyan-blue 5, and white is zero since white light has all the colours.

¾ Flag, The Three Fourths Flag

The ¾ Flag is rect-bar of white, red, pink, and white.  These colours in the background code for the numbers 0-1-9-0, which is based on ASCII rules.  Further these colours are linked to the colour metric that assigns a number to colour based upon the spectrum order.  Red is 1 since it is the first colour of the rainbow.  White is 0 since it is all light known as white light.  Pink is the odd ball since it is coded to 9, because it represents a return a repeat of the cycle, back to white then red.

≡ Flag, Triple Bar Flag or Triple Equals Sign Flag

The ≡ Flag is a triple vertical tri-bar of orange, green and white.  The triple equals sign is yellow since it is the assigned contrast indicator.  This symbol has many meanings and is in transition.  Currently it has become a menu tab on cell phones and web browsers.

This also means Yang in the East.  If they were all broken it'd be Yin.  Just look at the Korean flag.

µ Flag, the Micro Flag

The µ Flag is a tri-bar of orange, yellow, and white.  In the center is a blue Greek letter for Micro.  The colours are based upon the rainbow colour matrix theme.  Essentially the tri-bar colours are reflective of ASCII numbers 2-3-0.  When you hold down the ALT key and code those 3 numbers, a the 'µ' letter will appear.  Further, orange is the second colour of the rainbow, yellow is the third, while white represents zero.  Finally the assigned contrast indicator for yellow is blue.
