Arms for Terabithia - 2007
The arms of Terabithia from 2007 feature sword and pencil, with a winged foot. There were two versions of the shield. The first appeared on the Tree House Castle. One can just barely see the pencil and winged foot. It also had swords upon it.
After the safe bridge was complete, a new dazzling coat of arms was used, with a motto "Nothing Crushes Us."
The ending ember of love, hope, and friendship though the human hearts is theme of this book of the highest caliber.
Flags in Bridge to Terabithia - Movie 2007
The Bridge to Terabithia movie is based upon the book originally written in 1977 by Katherine Paterson. It was a cutting edge book for its time, and most importantly, it sewed a golden thread of hope in the wake of life lost for grieving children. The book touches upon the deepest and heartfelt themes of life, and provides a certain kind of refuge for the soul. The golden ember that shines brightest in this book is the imagination of childhood, underscored with friendship, set against the backdrop of bullying at school.
Paterson created a bridge of compassion for all and any to enter. Terabithia is a unique kingdom unbounded with love, creativity, and grace.
As with all 5th grades across the United States, the study of the 50 states and the 50 state flags are a focal point in all social studies classes. In the movie Bridge to Terabithia 2007 a few of the state flags can bee seen hanging on the wall.
The kids' drawing for the state flags of Hawaii, Washington State, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Delaware, California can be easily discerned. Also included is the flag of Guam, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. Just behind the teachers' head is the state flag of Maryland.

Isle of Manhattan Flag
The fun flag for the Isle of Manhattan is based upon the flag of Man but with a twist. But instead of a leg, we have an arm holding a Manhattan cocktail. The Manhattan is a popular drink in the USA, iconic and moves in waves of popularity. It is a classic all American drink.
Although most people already know, Manhattan is an island. A river-bay, estuary island, an island that can tap both the power of the ocean and the might of the river.
Isle of Shikotan Flag
Perhaps a trade is in order? A deal can be made? Maybe a small speck in the warm waters of the Pacific and be traded for a small speck in the Arctic Circle? Maybe there is room for Japan to join the Arctic Ocean Club? Maybe there is room for Russia in the deep blue warm pacific? Also note, Shikotan and the Habomai Islands were promised to be returned in the event of a final version of a peace treaty between Russia and Japan.
Nonetheless the flag for the Island of Shitokan is based upon the Isle of Man. Likewise the balance of powers is felt on this island. Instead of the powers of Ireland, Scotland, and England, Shikotan is balanced between the powers of Japan, Russia, and United States. However it is Japanese medieval knight armour that dominates the design. Those extra long teeth in the sandals are great for walking and fighting in the mud.

Isle of Lavan Flag
The Isle of Lavan flag is for a certain island in Persia. The three legs make good sense since Persia is in between the three worlds of Western Asia: Arabia, India, and Greater Turkey. The green slipper represents Arabs, the red slipper represents India, and the yellow slipper represents Turks.

Isle of Iron Man Flag
The Isle of Iron Man is an American echo of the spirit from the Isle of Man. Like the Isle of Man Iron Man it shows a human form covered in an iron suit. But the suit for Iron Man is completely imaginary. Yet in the near future such magical types of 'armour' will certainly be created.
Isle of Saipan Flag
As was written by the fates and spirits of the Atlantic and Pacific, the youth of these isles are compelled to learn and speak of Shakespeare. As English was the chosen tongue so it is the collective will of the Anglo-Oriented World that youth must bend their ears to this dead ghost upon the command of community will. Nay they should learn of the poetic voices of Japan, China, Spain, France, or Korea. It's a funny connection that language has.
The three legs represent the native Chamorro and the three nations that have set foot and left their mark on these islands: Japan, Spain, and the United States.
Saipan is so off the radar that this spellcheck does not recognize it as a word!
