Flags for the Constellations Lyra the Lyre and Pictor the Easel

Lyra & Pictor
The Lyre and The Easel

Lyra the Lyre and Pictor the Easel illustrate the two most basic forms of art: music and pictures.  To be specific they remind us of the cosmic melodies and vibrant colours that can be found all across the Universe.

The flag of Lyra the Lyre completely crosses the northern 30 degrees sector.  The Lyre is doubly North-bound as it is rooted the Northern Heavens and Northern Galactic Pole.  However it crosses into the 'Monkey in the Middle' Milky Way Zone.
The flag of Pictor the Easel is bound to the Southern Heavens and also rooted to Southern Galactic Faction.

Constellation flag for Scutum the Shield and Sagitta the Arrow

Scutum & Sagitta
The Shield and The Arrow

Scutum and Sagitta are a union of objects that defend and offend in times of war, crime, or urgency.  Scutum the Shield and Sagitta the Arrow are also non-partisian on the Galactic Sphere, since they reside in the Milky Way Galaxy.  The Cosmic Arrow and Heavenly Shield do not completely cross a sector of ten thus they both have central stripes.

The flag for Sagitta the Arrow has a field of orange and red with a stripe of red and orange.  Best seen during the month August and July, it is in the heart of the Milky Way, but allied to the Northern Skies.
The flag for Scutum the Shield has a similar field but it is white and red.  It is best seen during the month of March, thus a Pisces sign.  But Pieces is tilted towards the Southern Skies.

Sculptor the Sculpture and Caelum the Chisel Constellation Flags

Sculptor & Caelum
The Sculpture and The Chisel

The Constellations of The Cosmic Sculpture and The Heavenly Chisel are united in a Kingdom of Names like creator and the created.  Somewhat related to the secondary symbols of Freemasonry it is the transformation of a plain rough textured substance into a finely chiseled work of art or matter of importance.  Sculptor and Caelum match like pen to a message, paintbrush to picture, guitar pic to melody, spatula to meal, camera to movie, scalpel to healed patient, video game controller to beaten game, or soon to be created wizards digital wand to grand Oz-like illusion.

The flag of Caelum the Chisel crosses all of the 40s, thus a thick green bar.  It partially dips in to the 30s for a top yellow stripe, and the 50s for a bottom blue stripe.
The flag of Sculptor the Sculpture only partially filly the 30s and 40s lines of latitude of the Southern Celestial Skies, thus it has a counter charge stripe patter in the middle.

Antila the Air Pump and Fornax the Furnace

Antila & Fornax
The Air Pump and The Furnace

The thinkers of the Rennaisance allowed mankind to develop new mastery over fire and air.  More than just sauvy manipulation, humans develloped a sharper mathematical understanding upon the elements beyond the poetic and spirit realm.  Rather the logical center of mind became witness to the birth of modern science which unleashed powerful tools of creation and weapons of mass destruction. Science would also hijack and occult the ancient and romantic notion of the "Elements" for its own mysterious perogatives.

Here the Furnace and Air Pump are matched as they represent a potent mastery over the elemental forces of Fire and Air.  Their flags are on similar celestial latitudes, but the Air Pump just nibbles in the 50s.

Notice the hidden letter A in the symbol for Antila the Air Pump?
Can you find the hidden F in the symbol for the Furance?  Luckily both the Greek and English word begin with the letter F.

Sextans the Star-Compass and Octans the Navigator's Star Compass

Sextans and Octans
The Sextant Star Compass and The Octant Navigator's Star Compass

Once again another harmonious pair was placed into the heaves by our ancestors, or cousins as it may be for a good majority of world without any European Ancestors.  Nonetheless these two providential pairs align in more than one way - in that 'Tri-Fecta Triple Crown Way.'

1. First they are basically the same thing, a navigator's star compass.

2. Second they are perpendicular to each other, as the Sextant is on the Equator while the Octant is on the South Pole.

3. Finally they are on opposite Galactic Factions; Sextant is on North Galactic - M-87 Galactic Supercluster Capitol Side while Octant is on the Southern Galactic - Neighbor Andromeda Galaxy Side.

Sextans crosses the Equator so it gets the Equator Stripe, but it only dominates the southern equatorial latitude.  Subsequently the northern one's degree's latitude is just a stripe while the southern ones degree's celestial latitude is much thicker.  Likewise Sextans just crosses the southern 10s, so it gets a bottom red stripe.

Sextans astrological symbol has three inner spaces which is halfway to six, that reflects the Six in Sextant's name.  Likewise, Octans has four inner spaces which is half way to eight, that reflect the Eight in Octant's name as with the eight legged fish - the Octopus.

Octans crosses all the 80s region of the Celestial South Pole, and just reaches slightly into the southern 70s.  The Southern Star has eight points, in honor of the "Eighth of a Wheel Star Compass."

Flags of Microscopium the Microscope and Telescopium the Telescope

Microscopium & Telescopium
The Microscope and The Telescope

For most of written human history, we had no idea of the tiny universe of animals living all around us and in our tears and ears, nor did we understand that the sun is really a star and that others stars are suns.

But with the invention of the Microscope and Telescope the hidden formerly invisible kingdoms of amazingly small animals and plants became visible.  Likewise the borders of our universe expanded, we would no longer perceive the planets as stars.

We became simultaneously giants and tiny creatures.  Super-giants relative to the animals that live in the drops of morning dew, and paradoxically tiny creatures relative to expanded borders of the known Universe.

"Five stars transformed into Planets that Wondered, and Earth transformed into a Wandering Star. "

So radical was this shift in our perception of reality, we now take it for granted today.  Much of this wonder shift in consciousness was due to our ability to improve our vision by creating 'magical glasses' constructed on sound mathematical principles that exposed these hidden worlds of wonder - the telescope and microscope.

The flag of Microscopium the Microscope has  bands of blue, green, and yellow.  Green is the thicker since Microscopium completely crosses all of the 40s Celestial Latitude.  Since The Cosmic Microscope partially fills the 30s and 50s it gets a smaller yellow band and smaller blue band.
The flag of Telescopium uses the colours of blue and indigo to indicate its visibility along the 50s and 60s degree's celestial latitudes.  Since The Heavenly Telescope does not dominate a band, the centrally placed stripes are present.

By providence these constellations are at one of the Celestial Four Corners, as it is on Earth.  We have the American four corners of Utah-Colorado-Arizona-New Mexico or Canadian four corners of North West Territories-Nunavut-Manitoba-Saskatchewan.

But the Celestial Four Corners are composed of the Microscopium-Sagittarius-Telescopium-Indus.  On our Celestial Globe Microscopium is diametrically opposed to Telescopium as are Utah-to-Arizona or rather North West Territoires-to-Manitoba.

Triangulum the Right Triangle and Triangulum Australe the Southern Equalateral Triangle

Triangulum and Triangulum Australe
The Right Triangle & Southern Triangle

Coincidentally there are two constellations dedicated to the triangle.  Sorry no circles, hexagons, rectangles, trapezoids or any other type of shapes need apply.   A rhombus almost made in, but the astronomers couldn't dig the funky four corners, so it was given a pink slip.

So why are triangles so important to astronomers?  Because they are a fundamental shape that allows scientists to calculate distances with shadows and starlight.  Basically all other shapes can be broken down into triangles, which lead to the "Advanced Study of the Triangles" aka Trigonometry.  Long story short, the careful study of triangles allowed mankind to sail around the world.

The Northern Triangle has its stars in the general shape of Right Triangle.  But it simply goes by the name Triangulum the Triangle.  Triangulum Australe the Southern Triangle is in the general shape of an Equilateral Triangle.

Triangulum the Triangulum Australe is the rarest of Constellations as it can be found in one band on the Southern 50 degrees Latitude of the Celestial Globe.  Consequently it only has one colour - indigo.  It is best visible during the July, thus the Cancer sign.  The downward pointing triangle clues us in that it is the Southern Triangle of 50 degrees south.  Lastly since it is embedded in the Milky Way it has a yellow coloured symbols.

The flag Triangulum the Triangle is composed of the colours yellow and orange.  Since the Triangle does not completely dominate a band it has two central overlapping stripes.  Triangle is best viewed during the month of November.  Although it is considered the 'northern' triangle since in the Northern Skies, Triangle is a part of the Southern Galactic Cluster.  Consequently the Astrological icons are green.

Our solar system is a wacky planet like Uranus.  Our system's planets orbit the Milky Way Black hole at an extreme angle 'out of tilt' with direction of the Milky Way Galaxy.
