A Flag for Antipode Areas - from One End of the Earth unto the Other

The colours of the Antipode Areas Flag are based upon the official flag for The National Geographic Society which uses the colours green, white, light blue and brown.  The Yin and Yang symbol reflects the fact that at this particular point within a country, it is 'directly underneath' another country on the oppose side of the Earth, or vice verse.

The old saying goes, if you dig down deep enough you'll reach China.  But this is not true, rather if you dig down from the United States you'll end up in the Indian Ocean, unless you're in Hawaii.  Directly straight down underneath Hawaii is the southern tip of Africa.  Thus all of Hawaii can fly this flag. Likewise the small parts of Botswana and Namibia antipodal to Hawaii can fly this flag.  However the flag should be flipped when flown in the Southern Hemisphere, so that the fly is white and the hoist is green. Also note the tilt of the blue stripe matches the Earth's tilt relative to its orbit around the sun at about 23 degrees.  Coincidentally about 23 percent of the land on Earth is antipodal. Besides Hawaii, a small slice of Alaska and Montana can fly this flag.  Alaska is underneath Antarctica while a northern nibble of Montana is underneath the Kerguelen.

Wholly Antipodal countries that can fly this flag anywhere across their lands include: the Philippines, Brunei, Sarawak, and Taiwan.  Nations that are mostly Antiopdal include: Chile, Argentina, Cambodia, Greenland and Indonesia.  And nations with a good part of the area Antipodal include: New Zealand's North Island, Ecuador, South Vietnam, and Peru.

The Southern Israeli Parallel Zone Flag

Last but not least a ninth flag. The flag is for the southern latitude which is parallel to Israel but from a Southern Hemisphere point of view.  The Star of Israel is in the upper hoist, the stars are six pointed and reflective of constellation Pisces Australis, The Southern Fish, which is nearly at the parallel celestial southern latitiude of a would be 'South Hemisphere Israel.'  Coincidentally this parallel latitude passes though Australia, South Africa, Lesotho, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile.

You can think of this flag as the 9th Shamash (Attendant or Tall or Outsider) Flag.

The Upper West Israeli Angle Flag

A flag for the area north and west of Israel - the North West Israeli Angle Flag.  It has coverage over most of Europe and North America.  Nearly all the US states fall into this category that are parallel and north of North Carolina.

So what's the deal with all these geographically bound Israeli Flags?  First of all Israel is the Star of the Middle East, pun intended.  Secondly it is for educational purposes on a geographical basis.  Thirdly the events that were recorded in several "divine documents" in that area have enchanted most of our ancestors and living relatives as to their own personal history, as enchanted with love and in times great of need.  Fourthly it establishes a bond, between different parts of the world where the Original Mind of The Most Sacred Books or Sacred Programs for happiness were originally written.  Fifthly, as a vexillologist, making flags is what we do, however most vexillologists are fixated on changing established flags rather than expanding into unexplored ideas like meselfers. Sixthly, why not? Flags are just plain fun! Flags are abstract art grounded to a logical meaning.

Cities under this flag include: London, Brussels, Rome, New York, Kiev, Toronto, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Paris, Sparta, Athens, and Zagreb.

The Lower East Israeli Angle Flag

The South Eastern Israeli Angle flag encompasses most of the area that is bounded by the Indian Ocean and all of Australia and New Zealand. Likewise Hawaii is the only US state to fall into this fold.

The Lower West Israeli Angle Flag

Happy Cybermondannukah?

This is the first time Cyber Monday and Hannukah have met up.Thanksgiving and Hannukah are well known, but it like the first Olympic, nobody care until much later. And shopping on Cyber Monday will not go away.  Trying to spread the cheer of the miracle from the Holy Land.  Anyways imagine getting 81 miles to the gallon in your car/truck for a week and it not being a hybrid or energy efficient system.  Well then, you'd certainly be grateful for the oil burning that extra long mile.  That sort of, is the spirit of Hannukah.

This flag is for the area of land not perpendicular towards Israel.  Put another way for the area that is south and west of Israel. It is the counter charge-opposite flag for the North-Eastern Area Flag.

Note all of South America and the Caribbean is in the Lower West Israeli Angle.  As is most of West Africa.  A small wee portion of the United States is also a part of the area: the southern half of Florida, Texas, and all of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.  The Major US Cities in the South Western Angle of Israel include - Miami, Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Daytona.

The Upper East Israeli Angle Flag

Since lands on the same latitude and longitude get a geographic Israeli Flag it only makes sense that the other parts receive one as well.  This flag is for that area that is northeast of Israel.

All of Northern Asia (region of Asia north of the 45th North Parallel) is in this quadrant.
Ukraine of Europe Major and Alaska of North America are also a part of this group.
