Caspian Sea Flag
Flag of the Caspian Sea
This is the flag of the Caspian Sea. The colours are red, yellow, white, blue, and indigo.
The red border represents the surrounding lands of the sea. In the center is a blue ellipse that represents the Caspian Sea. The two counter charged circles of yellow and white represent the East and the West and Sun and Moon. Appropriately, this sea is a dividing line between Asia and Europe.
Titan Flag, Moon of Saturn
Flag of Titan
The flag of Titan takes its colours from the Dutch Astronomer who discovered it - Christaain Huygens on March 25, 1655. The colours orange, white, and blue reflect traditional Dutch colours. The symbol is the astrological icon for Titan and the livery colours stem from Hague, yellow & green.
Orange is also important due to the outer opaque orange colour of Titan's atmosphere.
Titan Image
Flase colour image of Titan peering beyond the thick haze. Titan is one of those magnificent moons that balances the magnificence of Saturn.
A moon with an atmosphere? Very strange indeed. Titan is the stuff of science fiction novels. Mars gets most of the glory in sci-fi movies, perhaps followed by Venus. But Titain is a mysterious moon in a league of its own.
