California Mekong Republic Flag

The California-Mekong Republic Flag
South East Asian California Heritage Flag

This is another heritage flag for Californians from South East Asia or rather from the Mekong River Valley. This includes the nations of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and Myanmar. All of these countries are a part of the Mekong Valley and are home to the tropical sun bear.

The sun bear has a uniquely extra long tongue. Besides that, unlike their temperate cousins these bears don't hibernate.

The red California star is replaced with the old older Bruma-Myanmar flag star but central yellow star is coloured yellow in honor of Vietnamese heritage. The stripes along the bottom are patterned after the flag of Thailand but with thinner white lines. Also the colours of Laos and Cambodia are apparent but not explicit.
